We sincerely apologize for the repeated issues and the server errors that occurred on 2/14 (UTC), which caused significant inconvenience to our players.
Regarding the issues that occurred in the 40th Armageddon and the account linking / connection errors, we would like to report the final response policy as well as the details of our apology and compensation.

Apology & Compensation Details

While we cannot compensate for the time and effort our players have invested in Armageddon, we will be implementing the following measures for the lost gameplay opportunities and invested assets.

1. Apology for the inability to play the game normally due to the series of issues

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the account linking issues and the server errors that occurred on February 14, from approximately 12:00 to 14:30 (UTC), which prevented players from playing the game normally.

■ Apology Details
– 3,000 Phantasm Gems
– 750 Premium Magic Candies
– 100 Tuna King Burgers

■ Eligible Players
All players who created an account by 14:59:59 on 2/15 (UTC)

2. Compensation Regarding the 40th Armageddon

This is compensation for the inability to earn scores normally due to issues in Battles 1 and 2, and for the cancellation of the event.
The following items will be distributed uniformly to all players who entered.

■ Compensation Details
– 5 Magic Crystals
– 5 Supreme Magic Drops
– 16,000 Armageddon Coins
* Rewards equivalent to the 1st place reward, excluding the title.

– 7,000 Armageddon Coins
– 200 Phantasm Gems
* Expected mission and victory rewards for 2 days of Armageddon.

■ Eligible Players
– All players who entered the 40th Armageddon.

3. Individual Compensation for use of Specific Summons

The development team deeply understands the effort and dedication that players have invested in preparing for this Armageddon event.
While it is impossible to fully replace all of that, as a gesture of our utmost sincerity, we will provide compensation in the form of Phantasm Gems (up to 200 summons) and Magic Crystals, depending on the assets used. These can be used to acquire new characters and awaken their powers in future events.

■ Compensation Details
– Compensation of Phantasm Gems will be provided based on the amount of Phantasm Gems and Summon Tickets used on the eligible summons, up to a maximum of 56,000 gems (enough for 200 summons).
– Compensation of “10 Magic Crystals” will be provided for each time Demonic Fanatic: Victoria was awakened.

■ Eligible Players
Players who used the following eligible summons between 2/12 4:00 and 2/15 14:59 (UTC)
– [Valentine Campaign] Yellow Elemental Special Epic SS-Guaranteed Summon
– Demonic Fanatic: Victoria Shadow Festival Summon

* The Phantasm Gems provided as compensation will be “Free Phantasm Gems”.
* Assets used outside the eligible period or on other summons are not eligible for compensation. We appreciate your understanding.

Regarding the rerun of the 40th Armageddon

We have decided not to hold a rerun of the 40th Armageddon event.

We have carefully considered rerunning Armageddon event.
In light of recent issues, we also considered including the same content in the next Armageddon event. However, for players who invested significant time in planning strategies, raising characters, and experimenting with party compositions for this event, we determined that holding the same content after a month would not provide an appropriate gameplay experience. Therefore, we have decided not to rerun the event.

We sincerely apologize once again that the event could not be held for players who invested so much effort and enthusiasm in preparing for it.

Future Schedule

Starting 2/16 (UTC): We will begin distributing the above compensation and apology items sequentially.

Improving Our Operational Structure and Preventing Recurrence

We take the issues that occurred very seriously and are committed to implementing the following improvements thoroughly in order to regain our players’ trust.

1. Review and Stricter Implementation of the Verification Process

We deeply regret that our checks on the potential impact of bug fixes on other systems and the review of verification items were insufficient.
Going forward, we will proceed with building an appropriate internal process to properly confirm the scope of impact and carefully scrutinize all verification items.

2. Expediting the Decision-Making Process for Critical Judgments

We have had a recurring situation where investigations and verifications for critical judgments took time, leading to delayed reports.
We will clarify the criteria for emergency judgments and strengthen our information dissemination system to prioritize initial reports.

3. Strengthening Monitoring and Coordination Systems

We will reinforce our internal coordination and management systems to ensure swift decision-making even when issues occur on weekends or late at night.
Additionally, regarding the login issues caused by a sudden spike in server load around 12:00 on 2/14 (UTC), we will further strengthen our management system to allow for immediate monitoring of server conditions and prompt responses.
